Y&R Today Episode | Nikki Confronts Victor After Jack Vanishes
Victor Newman never starts a battle he cannot win, and when he makes a move the entire city of Genoa City feels the impact. This time his latest power play may be the most dangerous one yet because Jack Abbott has suddenly vanished without warning or explanation. The frightening possibility is that Victor may be the only person who knows exactly where Jack is. Behind the scenes Victor has once again been pulling strings, setting traps, and applying pressure where no one can see it yet. His goal is clear as he wants complete control over Chancellor, Newman Media, and every piece of Newman Enterprises. Victor is not negotiating politely and instead is forcing the issue with ruthless determination. Phyllis Summers finds herself trapped in the middle of the chaos as she tries to negotiate a deal that might calm the situation before it explodes. The problem is that Victor constantly changes the rules and makes every agreement unstable. At Billy Abbott’s place the tension is already rising as Billy explains to Sally Spectra that a marina lead might be connected to Jack’s disappearance. Billy becomes increasingly frustrated because Phyllis has not finalized the deal with Victor and he fears they are running out of time if Jack is truly in danger.
At Society, Nikki Newman senses something is wrong because after decades of marriage she knows exactly when Victor is hiding secrets. She approaches Phyllis directly and demands to know what Victor is planning. Phyllis pretends to be confused, but Nikki notices the hesitation and becomes even more suspicious. Before the conversation can continue Diane Jenkins Abbott and Kyle Abbott arrive looking exhausted and terrified. Diane immediately asks whether Phyllis finalized the deal with Victor, but Phyllis pauses before answering. Kyle then reveals the shocking truth that Jack is missing and no one has heard from him. Diane bluntly states their terrifying suspicion that Victor kidnapped Jack. The accusation shocks Nikki because she knows how ruthless Victor can be when protecting his empire. Diane insists that Victor is holding Jack as leverage to force control of Chancellor. Nikki angrily demands that Phyllis finalize the deal immediately if it could save Jack. Phyllis finally admits there is a problem because Victor suddenly changed the terms of the agreement again.
Billy soon arrives at Society and immediately senses the tension surrounding the group. When Kyle tells him Victor has their father, Billy realizes that Victor has once again escalated the conflict to gain power. Phyllis reveals that Victor now wants everything including Chancellor, Newman Media, and Newman Enterprises. Kyle cannot believe the demand and asks if she agreed to it. When Phyllis admits she refused the deal, Billy and Diane explode with anger because Jack’s life could be at risk. Phyllis remains calm and explains that Victor’s demand was not negotiation but total surrender. Billy decides they cannot rely on Victor’s deal and declares they will find Jack themselves. Kyle remembers the marina lead Billy mentioned and immediately agrees to go searching. The three of them rush out determined to locate Jack before it is too late. Meanwhile Nikki storms into the ranch demanding answers from Victor. The confrontation becomes intense as Nikki realizes Victor may truly be responsible for Jack’s disappearance.
Elsewhere another storm begins forming around Adam Newman when Nick and Sharon reveal new information about Matt Clark and a mysterious woman named Reza. Adam recognizes the name immediately because Reza was once his handler during his secret life in Las Vegas when he lived under the identity of Spider, a legendary high-stakes poker player. Although Adam tried to bury that dangerous past, he agrees to help because Matt Clark is becoming a growing threat. Meanwhile Billy, Kyle, and Diane arrive at the marina and begin searching the quiet docks for any sign of Jack. Inside an abandoned storage building they discover a chair and rope that suggest someone had been held there recently. The disturbing discovery convinces Billy that Victor may have already moved Jack before they arrived. Later Diane spots something floating near the dock and Billy pulls it from the water. The object turns out to be Jack Abbott’s watch, the one he never removes. Kyle realizes that Jack was definitely there at some point. The horrifying question now haunting everyone in Genoa City is whether Victor simply moved Jack somewhere else or if something far worse has already happened.
