The woman guarding him is Patty Williams, and she claims she was hired anonymously to watch over him. According to Patty, someone offered her a large amount of money simply to keep Jack exactly where he is. Jack immediately suspects Victor Newman is behind the strange arrangement because Victor has both the motive and the power to make it happen. Patty avoids confirming the truth and insists she is only the babysitter in the situation. She then makes a bizarre demand that shocks Jack completely. If Jack wants information about the yacht and his situation, he must give her a kiss first.
