Matt raged in his hideout over his failed plan to kill Victor as Chance’s bullet wound fueled his fury. He vowed to destroy the Newmans, starting with Victor, despite his accomplice warning it was suicide. At the ranch, Victor ordered maximum security while Noah remained traumatized from captivity. Sharon feared Matt still had allies, and Noah confirmed someone else had helped him escape. The sniper attack on Victor’s window proved Matt was escalating the war. Chance investigated and found the shot was only meant to send a message. Noah revealed Matt worked with a mysterious woman he called “Ra,” which terrified Nikki. At the hideout, the accomplice was exposed as Phyllis, who had been manipulating evidence. Phyllis insisted no one was supposed to die, but Matt declared Victor’s death would collapse the Newman empire. Sharon meanwhile hid a dangerous past secret that could destroy her relationship with Nick if exposed.
Victor tightened security and sensed a new threat looming as Matt whispered “Tick tock” from the shadows. Noah, desperate to prove himself, tracked Matt alone and walked straight into a deadly trap. Matt activated a full-room explosive countdown and seized Noah, planning to obliterate the entire Newman legacy. Victor arrived and confronted Matt, vowing to protect his family at any cost. Phyllis unexpectedly shot Matt, triggering the timer to accelerate as chaos erupted. The hideout exploded just as Chance and officers stormed in, leaving everyone scrambling for survival. Victor carried Noah out alive while Phyllis barely escaped, but Matt’s body was never found. A burned hand later emerged from the wreckage, revealing Matt had survived. Soon after, Noah tried to escape the fear consuming him but Matt kidnapped him again. Sienna got dragged into the nightmare when she warned Sharon and Nick that Noah had fallen into Matt’s trap.
Nick and Sienna located Noah in an abandoned mental facility and freed him, but Matt exposed his true plan from an upper landing. He revealed the entire rescue was the trap, sealing exits and initiating a ten-minute explosion countdown. Noah led them into a crawl space rigged with motion-triggered bombs, forcing them to move silently. Once inside a dead-end room, Noah attempted to cut power, but Matt triggered a booby trap that severely injured Sienna. Noah confessed his love and kept her conscious while time drained away. Desperate, he cut the breaker, plunging the building into darkness, only for Matt’s backup systems to restart the countdown. With 30 seconds left, Victor and Chance stormed the facility in a dramatic rescue. Matt escaped through a zipline as Victor carried Sienna and Nick dragged Noah outside. The building erupted in flames, throwing debris across the field. Sienna was rushed to a hospital in critical condition as Noah begged her to stay alive.
Victor declared the explosion a declaration of war, not a victory, as Chance confirmed Matt had months of preparation and more allies. At the hospital, Noah refused to leave Sienna’s bedside as she underwent emergency surgery. Sharon tried comforting him while struggling with guilt and terror from the escalating violence. Victor vowed to hunt Matt relentlessly and eliminate him before he could strike again. A nurse unknowingly delivered a dangerous envelope addressed to Noah. Inside, Noah found a threatening message written in blood-red ink. The note read: “Round two. You won’t escape next time. – M.” Noah’s terror surged as he realized Matt was watching from the shadows. The Newman family’s ordeal was far from over. Matt had only begun the next phase of his revenge.
