Days of Our Lives’ Xander Just Made an Enemy of the One Person Who Could Take *Everything* From Him

Well, Xander finally decided that it was time for Philip to pay a price for his betrayal on Days of Our Lives. Lying and cheating to get a part of Xander’s fortune and empire are one thing, but messing up a potentially lucrative business deal with that Versavix theft? That was a step too far.
He beat the living daylights out of his brother, and despite Xander’s attempts to flee the scene of the crime, no one will have any doubt that he attacked Philip. He ditched Sarah moments before the beating. He returned to the mansion with bruised knuckles which Maggie saw. Kate knows all Philip and Xander’s secrets. And Jada is well aware of Xander’s history.
They won’t need Philip to wake up from his beating to point the finger. But they will need him to press charges. With how remorseful Philip’s been lately, there’s a good chance he won’t want to. After all, how would it benefit him?
Sure, it could make Xander pay a price, but even if his brother’s tossed into prison, that doesn’t mean Philip would be able to take control of DiMera/Titan. The merger would probably fall apart and Philip’s fraud would be exposed. The ruling that gave him part of Titan would evaporate, leaving both him and Xander with nothing.
But if he keeps his mouth shut and recovers, he could have a chance of holding onto it with Xander — just maybe running the company from different buildings. Or states. Or countries. If we were him, we’d never want to be alone in a room with Xander again.
If that means telling him Sarah’s been keeping Philip’s fraud a secret almost from the beginning, and that his own wife didn’t even trust him, then so be it. Even worse, Maggie eventually found out the secret too and chose to keep it from Xander. Alex keeping a secret is one thing. He didn’t know for very long and, let’s face it, he isn’t exactly the closest person in Xander’s life. But Sarah, and even Maggie, are a different matter.
With just a few words, Kate could blow up Xander’s marriage and his family, and isolate him from everyone he loved and trusted. If she doesn’t just pull the trigger on him herself. We all know she’s more than capable of that.
She’s tangled with the likes of Stefano and Victor — in the bedroom, the board room and battling it out far beyond. She can handle Xander.
But blowing up his life could be a dangerous game. Because Xander nearly killed Philip when he still had everything to lose. Take that all away from him, and Kate could end up facing off against a Xander who, just as he was years ago, is capable of anything.
