When she firmly declares that she is perfectly sane, Markham responds with chilling confidence, insisting she is simply refusing to face the truth.

The threat escalates when Markham warns that if therapy fails, he may be forced to use “other methods.” The vague but ominous statement sends a wave of fear through Diane. Whether he means medication, psychological torture, or something even more disturbing, one thing is clear: she is in grave danger. Convinced there is a personal motive behind her captivity, Diane demands answers. But Markham offers only more lies, deepening suspicions that he may actually be Martin Laurent operating under a new identity—a theory that would connect him to a long history of manipulation and psychological abuse.

Meanwhile, panic is spreading through the Abbott family. At the Abbott mansion, Jack Abbott and Kyle Abbott struggle to make sense of Diane’s disappearance. Having encountered Martin Laurent before, Tracy is uniquely positioned to recognize the signs and connect the dots. While Jack distracts Patty, Tracy could be the one quietly uncovering evidence that leads directly to Diane’s location.

As the stakes continue to rise, Jack finds himself walking a razor-thin line between success and disaster. One wrong move could cost Diane her life. At the same time, Diane must continue resisting Markham’s relentless psychological manipulation while searching for any opportunity to escape.
