Li introduces Nova, Luna’s long-lost twin sister, to which Finn is skeptical | Bold and Beautiful
Ever since Lee secretly took Luna’s body from the hospital, she has been keeping a life-altering secret. Everyone believes Luna died after a tragic hospital incident, but in reality, Lee has been hiding her in a private medical facility, keeping her sedated to avoid public scandal and legal consequences. Lee has been monitoring Luna’s recovery closely, and now, Luna is starting to show signs of waking up. As Luna stirs, Lee knows the moment is coming when she will have to act quickly to protect her and control the narrative surrounding her return.
Lee has devised an elaborate plan to reinvent Luna’s identity to protect both of them. Once Luna wakes, she will no longer be Luna—she will be Nova, a long-lost twin sister, according to Lee’s story. Lee fabricates an entire backstory about Nova being separated at birth and adopted by a shadowy broker, even creating falsified documents to back up the tale. Lee believes this cover story will fool everyone, including Finn, but the risks are enormous. If Luna makes even the smallest mistake, or someone from her past recognizes her, the entire scheme could collapse, resulting in serious consequences for both women.
When Luna wakes up, she is confused and disoriented, with no memory of the new identity Lee has imposed on her. Lee dresses her up, changes her appearance, and drives her straight to Finn’s clinic, where she introduces her as Nova Matsuda, Luna’s twin sister. Finn is immediately skeptical but plays along, questioning the authenticity of the story. Nova, still shaken and unsure of her role, tries to act the part, though her nervousness betrays her. Finn is unconvinced, but Lee sticks to her story, insisting that even Poppy didn’t know the full details of Luna’s adoption.
Back at home, Finn can’t shake the feeling that something is off with Nova’s appearance, rethinking the possibility that she could be Luna in disguise. Meanwhile, Sheila becomes suspicious and could potentially expose the truth to gain leverage over Lee. As Luna regains her strength, she struggles with the idea of living as someone else, wondering if she should disappear completely or expose the deception. Lee, increasingly paranoid about Finn’s growing doubts and Sheila’s probing questions, faces the pressure of keeping the ruse intact. Will Finn uncover the truth before it’s too late, and can Lee maintain the charade?
