Days of Our Lives Full Recap for 6/17/26 | DOOL Wednesday, June 17th, 2026 Full Recap
Days of Our Lives — June 17 Spoilers: The DiMera mansion becomes Salem’s most volatile address Wednesday as EJ and Chad DiMera spiral deeper into a rivalry fueled by jealousy, regret, and unfinished romance.
The conflict reignites after Chad and Belle Black share a kiss at a baseball game—one EJ witnesses on television. Rather than confront his feelings, EJ immediately turns to Cat Greene, kissing her in an obvious attempt to provoke his brother. Cat sees through the performance and calls out EJ’s jealousy, exposing the insecurity behind his swagger.
For Chad, the moment cuts deeper. He walked away from a future with Cat and accepted a painful custody arrangement to protect Thomas and Charlotte. Now he must watch EJ pursue the woman he still cares about. The irony is unmistakable: EJ wants Belle, Chad wants Cat, and neither brother is willing to admit it. Their growing hostility threatens to become the next great DiMera power struggle.
Complicating matters, EJ has no idea Cat is secretly working with the ISA to investigate his controversial Versavix resurrection project. While he believes he is manipulating her, he may actually be the one being played.
Elsewhere in Salem, Xander Cook offers Johnny DiMera a belated apology for the Titan Publishing lawsuit—an apology that rings hollow as Johnny struggles to support a pregnant Chanel through a devastating cancer diagnosis. Philip Kiriakis also attempts damage control by apologizing to Theo Carver after Gabby Hernandez falsely accused him of leaking corporate information. Theo, already facing the possible loss of his mother Lexie as Dr. Rolf’s treatment fails, has little patience left for Salem’s business wars.
Meanwhile, Gabby tries to keep Leo Stark away from Javi and his new firefighter boyfriend, Gus. Whether Leo backs off or launches another scheme remains an open question.
Wednesday’s episode is ultimately about loyalty under pressure. Chad is protecting his children. Cat is protecting a mission. Johnny and Theo are protecting their families. And EJ, desperate to regain control, may be pushing everyone closest to him away.
By the end of the hour, the biggest question won’t be whether the DiMera brothers are jealous—it will be which brother makes the first irreversible mistake.
