Newcomers 2026
Kayden Brenna Tokarski is the new Scout Cain
Kayden Brenna Tokarski was cast as Scout Cain, and SORASed as Drew and Sam’s daughter.

The actress posted on Instagram: “A DREAM COME TRUE. So honored to be joining the @generalhospitalabc family!! Biggest thanks to @markteschner @fvalentinigh for giving me the opportunity of a lifetime to work on this iconic show. And special thanks to @ivyartistsmanagement for always believing in me!!”
Scout was previously played by Cosette Abinante from 2022-2026.
Dean Geyer joins GH as Tristan Roberts
Dean Geyer joined General Hospital as Tristan Roberts. He started taping June 1. If the name sounds familiar, it’s because the character was named after the late Tristan Rogers (Robert Scorpio).
Geyer is known for his roles in 9-1-1, Glee, and Zoey 102. , and his first airdate on GH is July 13
Maxwell Caulfield’s appearance on General Hospital, May 29
In the one-off episode, Caulfield portrays Apollo, a New York City gallery owner. Watch for him Friday, May 29 in scenes with Ava and Alexis.
“Mark Teschner, the brilliant casting director over there, has been working for a while to get a role for me on the show,” Caulfield tells TV Insider exclusively. “In this instance, it’s just a one-off, but I was happy to take it.”
TVInsider wrote, “The timing of his hire threw a wrench into the actor’s best-laid plans, but Caulfield made it work. “Juliet [Mills, his wife; Tabitha Lenox, Passions] and I were just about to get on a plane to go to the UK for her sister Hayley’s [Mills] big birthday,” he reveals. “She had a big landmark birthday in London, and that was the day that they needed me over there at Prospect [Studios]. You probably hear actors tell you all the time, but it’s a rule of thumb: If you want to get a job, book yourself a holiday and the phone will ring telling you to call it off. Juliet ended up going with our daughter, and I changed my ticket and stayed behind.”
Caulfield says working opposite Daytime Emmy winners West and Grahn helped ease his transition back into the fast-paced soap environment. “You jump into a show like this, it’s like trying to board a moving train,” he says. “They’re a great double act, those two. Maura’s got a great sense of humor, and Nancy was particularly reassuring and very sweet-natured. They put me completely at ease; I found working with them a delight. I ran into them in the makeup room, and they immediately offered to sit down and play out the scene a little bit, which was great because Ava and Apollo were supposed to know each other.””

Exits 2026
Kate Mansi is leaving General Hospital in June of 2026
Citing a “very difficult decision,” Kate Mansi has confirmed that she’s exiting General Hospital as Kristina Corinthos-Davis. The actress debuted in the role on May 24, 2023 and will exit once her three-year contract is up in June.
Mansi wishes to travel with her husband, producer Matt McInnis, who is working on a TV series that is filming overseas, and to focus on some new projects she’s developing. She called her time on the show “a meaningful and unforgettable ride,” something she says “feels like the right time for both Kristina and me to step into new adventures.”
The show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini is supportive and stated that the door was always open to a return.
Though Mansi filmed her final episode in April, viewers will see her on canvas into June.
How will Kristina exit? Kristina receives big news this coming Tuesday, May 26. This was first reported by SoapSteph’s Daytime Dish.

Nathan Dean (was Parsons) is returning to General Hospital as Ethan Lovett. Holly Sutton (Emma Samms) and Luke Spencer’s (Tristan Rogers) son is back filming as of March 5. Could his return be about Robert Scorpio? Is the show dealing with Rogers’ passing? After all, once upon a time, Holly (Emma Samms) falsely claimed that Robert was Ethan’s dad. If so, will we see Holly and Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson)? Or are we in for another kind of story that doesn’t include the others?
“We are so excited that Nathan Dean is returning to General Hospital as Ethan this April. We have a great story planned — with, of course, a few twists along the way,” executive producer Frank Valentini tells TV Insider. Dean will first be seen on Friday, April 17, 2026
