Young and the Restless Recap June 4: As the Newmans Toast to Getting Their Company Back, Phyllis Tears Christine Apart
Thursday, June 4, 2026: Today on The Young and the Restless, Victor declares victory, Phyllis asks Michael to help clear her name, and Victoria worries about Nikki’s medical issues.

Michael Offers Phyllis a Way Out at Crimson Lights
Michael is surprised to see Phyllis working and reminds her that she decided to step back from the company last night.
She’s changed her mind about that.
It doesn’t matter if she went after it wrongfully. If she gives it back, she will be back at square one.
Michael suggests Victor might be magnanimous since she saved his son. He urges her to throw in the towel and live to fight another day.
He adds that he thinks Christine will be fair. Phyllis is sure the bug has been waiting to dance on her grave.
If she gave the company back, all the charges would have to be dropped and she’d have to be free and clear.
He reminds her that Nick offered her a deal and she reminds him that he already betrayed her.
Michael tells her to stop acting like a victim. She made a power play and it didn’t work out.
Phyllis asks him to put himself in her place and be at the mercy of Victor. He repeats Nick won’t let his father ruin her.
She’s sure he’s just another Newman and refuses to change her mind. She has to have assurances from Victor and Christine in writing.
He suggests they go and make this happen right now. She reminds him she fired him.
The lawyer reminds her he’s the master of keeping people out of prison. She thanks him for not quitting on her.
“You don’t make it easy,” he admits. They hug.
Nick Tells His Mom He’s in Rehab at the GCAC
Nikki admits to Victoria that she didn’t get much sleep. Her daughter worries she’s having migraines. Nikki tries to wave it off as just symptoms of her MS.
She refuses to let Victoria call a doctor. She’s sure that the stress in her life is giving her headaches. When things are resolved, her headaches will be gone.
Nikki wonders if she and her husband can resolve their differences, and Victor will remember how much they love each other.
That’s just a distraction she thinks about when she can’t sleep. She’s sure the marriage is over.
They talk about her issues with Victor and Victoria reminds her they always find a way back together. She’s sure that if he gets the company back, they will get back together.
Nikki isn’t wagering her future on anything Phyllis offers.
Nick joins them and eats his sister’s fruit. He explains he had his first rehab session. It was great and he’s committed.
He knows he’s messed up. His mom assumes he knows he’s lost control. Nick says he’s making sobriety his priority.
His mom tells him Jack has offered to help. She suggests he take him up on it.
Nick is sorry for letting them down, but he’s feeling positive about their family right now. Phyllis may have saved him, but he’s taken away her options and she knows it’s game over.
Victor Makes a Deal at the Newman Ranch
Phyllis and Michael arrive with Christine and Nick to meet Victor. Phyllis prompts Victor to tell the DA he set her up. She offers to give Newman back if all the charges are dropped.
He’s silent. Phyllis prompts again and refuses to give the company back until this is done.
Christine demands that someone give her a compelling reason to close the case or she will see them all in court.
Victor smirks at Phyllis and then crosses his arms.
Michael pitches how this could work and Phyllis tells Victor he could put his portrait back on the wall.
Victor worries that he could face charges. Christine doesn’t want to ignore actual crimes.
Nick tells the DA that this mess has taken it’s toll on the family and he wants them to bury the hatchet. Phyllis saved his life and they were all reminded of what matters.

The DA asks Victor if he fabricated the evidence. Michael tries convincing him to talk.
Victoria interrupts and Nick recaps what just happened. The DA reminds them they claimed the emails were legit.
Victor chuckles. Christine is ready to walk.
Victor admits he did what he felt was necessary. The lawyer is angry that she trusted him and Victoria. She won’t make that mistake again.
He admits he can’t prove that Phyllis stole his company. He can give her evidence that his evidence was fabricated. She will get it as soon as he gets his company back.
Christine walks out. Michael says they will have the company signed back to him within the hour. He walks out with Phyllis.
“We won,” Victor says, sadly.
