DOOL Spoilers May 11-15: Salem ERUPTS After Deadly Confession & Devil’s Secret!

Salem prepared for one of its most explosive weeks as new betrayals and shocking revelations tore through the town. The chaos began with the long-awaited reading of Stefano DiMera’s final will at the DiMera mansion. Theo Carver gathered EJ, Kristen, Chad, and Megan Hathaway to hear Stefano’s final instructions. Stefano’s handwritten letter revealed a secret contingency plan called the Phoenix Protocol. The plan declared that bloodlines no longer mattered in determining the true DiMera heir. Theo then shocked everyone by revealing that Peter Blake was still alive after years of being presumed dead. Peter had secretly been living in a Swiss medical facility protected by Stefano before his death. He returned carrying a flash drive connected to Project Chimera, a dangerous program capable of altering human memories. Peter threatened to erase Marlena Evans’ memories of John Black if the family refused to unite under his leadership. The confrontation exploded into violence when Megan pointed a gun at Theo and demanded the letter back.
Meanwhile, another devastating secret surfaced at the Brady Pub during an emotional conversation involving Maggie Horton, Sarah Horton, and Xander Cook. Maggie finally admitted she had known about the original baby switch involving Mickey and Rachel during her years of alcoholism. She also confessed that Fiona Cook knew about the switch long before Xander ever learned the truth. Maggie revealed that Fiona manipulated Xander into marrying Sarah in order to keep the child connected to the family. To prove it, Maggie produced a letter Fiona had written to Victor before fleeing Salem. Xander reacted with silent fury instead of shouting at anyone in the room. He abruptly left the pub and drove out of Salem without telling anyone where he was going. Spoilers revealed that Xander would remain missing for two full days while Sarah desperately searched for him. Sarah also began fearing that she might once again be pregnant with Xander’s child. The emotional fallout left the entire Horton and Kiriakis families terrified about what might happen next.
On May 14th, Julie Williams suffered a frightening cardiac episode while meditating inside the Horton house. During the medical emergency, Julie experienced a surreal out-of-body vision involving Tom Horton’s ghost. Tom pointed toward a strange section of the Horton house floor near the family Christmas tree. After waking up in the hospital, Julie urgently instructed Johnny DiMera and Chanel Dupree to tear up the floorboards. Hidden beneath the boards was a rusted lockbox containing an old marriage license from 1986. The license revealed that Marlena Evans and John Black had secretly remarried during the Salem Strangler era decades earlier. Marlena was stunned to realize that she and John had technically remained legally married for forty years. The revelation complicated several legal issues involving family inheritance and baby Jude’s custody battle. John suddenly gained stronger legal standing because of his renewed status within the family. The discovery added another emotional twist to Salem’s already chaotic week of secrets and betrayals.
The week’s final shock centered around Clyde Weston and a confession tied to a decades-old crime. Clyde requested one final meeting with Nancy Miller, who had been volunteering as a prison chaplain. During their conversation, Clyde admitted responsibility for the 1994 warehouse explosion connected to Curtis Reed’s death. He confessed that he framed Orpheus for the crime in order to destroy Orpheus’ friendship with Stefano DiMera. Nancy secretly recorded the confession on a hidden tape recorder hoping it would help expose Clyde’s crimes. However, Clyde revealed he had already mailed evidence to the Salem Spectator before their meeting even began. He warned Nancy that Orpheus would soon be declared innocent once the evidence became public. Clyde chillingly predicted that Orpheus would seek revenge against Tony DiMera after learning the truth. At the same time, Peter Blake’s return signaled a dangerous new era involving technology, mind control, and psychological warfare. The week ended with Salem facing a terrifying future where memories themselves could become weapons in the DiMera family war.
