Wednesday, April 29 will bring major chaos to Genoa City. The biggest crisis unfolds at an abandoned gas station far from town. Nick Newman reaches a dangerous low because of his drug addiction struggle. After taking tainted drugs, he collapses in front of Sharon and Noah. Sharon and Noah are still chained up and unable to help him. Adam Newman steps in and takes a hard line with Nick. He demands that Nick stop making excuses and face reality. During the confrontation, they discover the gas station holds more dangers than handcuffs. Matt Clark is secretly watching them through his phone. He has also set a timer that threatens everyone there.
Sienna Beall arrives just in time to change the situation. Because she lost her brother to an overdose, she may be carrying Narcan. That medicine could help save Nick after the bad drugs. While Sienna helps Nick, Sharon and Noah finally get free. Even so, Sharon remains unsure whether Sienna can be trusted. Back in town, Victor Newman is done waiting on Phyllis Summers. He orders her to return his company immediately. Victor warns that if she refuses, she could end up in jail. Phyllis pretends to be fearless, but she is clearly rattled. The showdown between them is only getting worse.
Phyllis refuses to surrender when Victor pressures her. Instead, she reveals that she hid the company’s digital keys. She claims they are hidden inside a toy belonging to one of the Newman grandchildren. That turns the battle into a race to recover the hidden treasure first. Meanwhile, the Winters family gets hopeful medical news. Cane Ashby is a bone marrow match for Malcolm Winters. Lily is relieved and quickly shares the update with loved ones. Devon Winters, however, remains furious and suspicious of Cane’s motives. He believes Cane is only trying to look heroic and win Lily back. Abby finally snaps and warns Devon to get control of himself.
Elsewhere, Billy Abbott is planning a romantic surprise for Sally Spectra. At the same time, Jack and Nikki begin a risky jealousy scheme. They pretend to reunite in hopes of making Victor and Diane jealous. The plan backfires when Diane sees them embracing. Instead of fighting for Jack, Diane announces she is leaving town forever. Jack may have damaged his marriage by playing games. Another threat appears when Patty Williams targets Kyle Abbott. She begins saying strange things that may expose a hidden secret. Dangerous choices and emotional fallout are spreading across Genoa City. Wednesday promises a reckoning that could change several lives at once.
