Port Charles is erupting with chaos as Ethan Lovett returns and immediately offers Sonny a deadly solution to deal with Jens Sidwell. Ethan’s motives seem personal because Sidwell knows where Holly Sutton, Robert Scorpio, Sasha, and Daisy are living in France. Even so, Ethan may be playing a deeper con and using Sonny’s power for his own agenda. Meanwhile, Sidwell unnervingly approaches young James West outside Bobbie’s and talks about dangerous moves. Cassius Fasone, still posing as Nathan West, watches nervously and knows Sidwell is capable of anything. Sidwell’s strange fixation on James may be tied to memories of Marco Rios as a child. Elsewhere, Curtis Ashford becomes obsessed with proving Isaiah Gannon caused the Route 91 hit and run. Curtis’s anger appears fueled by jealousy over Isaiah’s closeness to Portia rather than facts. The truth is that Brook Lynn Quartermaine caused the crash after drinking and panicking. Tracy Quartermaine is now helping cover it up, but secrets on soaps rarely stay buried.
Brook Lynn is drowning in guilt because Jordan was badly injured and scarred in the crash. Her secret could also ruin her marriage to Chase just after they were conditionally approved to foster baby Phoebe. At the same time, Willow Tait is spiraling into dangerous hypocrisy while pretending to be righteous. Michael is secretly plotting against Willow and working with Jacinda Bracken to regain control. Dante Falconeri is juggling investigations into Marco’s murder, the Cullum shooting, and the hit and run.
