During the pick-up from the March 3 cliffhanger, Jens Sidwell (Carlo Rota) acknowledged Cassius as “the twin brother of the late, great Nathan West.” In addition, Cassius confirmed that Nathan did indeed die 7 years ago the night that he was shot, but that he has manage to convince everyone else otherwise.

Viewers learn that Cassius’ mission was to take over Nathan’s life and infiltrate the PCPD, all to help Sidwell carry out his plans to take over Port Charles and keep people off kilter of his nefarious criminal activities.

Cassius appreciated Sidwell’s tainted face cream that caused Maxie’s (Kirsten Storms) coma so he could become more firmly implanted in Port Charles. “Maxie being in a coma bought me the time I needed, he revealed, “By the time she came back, I had my brother’s life down pat, so she had no reason to doubt me.”

Sidwell also tells Cassius his sister, Britt (Kelly Thiebaud) has been insubordinate and Cassius responds that if Britt “has compromised the situation then she has to be dealt with.”

Meanwhile, Ryan Paevey gave his first chat on his actual new role to Soap Opera Digest, where he teased, “Cassius is basically Nathan turned on his heels. He has to be similar enough to Nathan that it’s feasible, that it’s believable that people were fooled. He looks like Nathan, he kind of sounds like Nathan — the camouflage is viable, so to speak. I mean, we are twins. But there are some differences.”

Now the question becomes, who will start to put two and two together and realize that Nathan is still really dead, and this imposter is his twin brother, Cassius Faison? And, will Cassius continually show James and Lulu that he cares for them, which will make pulling off his deception even harder down the line? Weigh-in via the comment section below. But first, take a look and a bit of wha happened on today’s GH between Sidwell and Cassius.
